Wayne has been an auto motive technician for 40 yrs, and has owned Orewa Car Services for 33 yrs. An A-grade mechanic, he can build performance and exhaust systems, knows the ins and outs of electronic fuel injection & carburetted vehicles, is trained in diagnostics, airconditioning systems and is certified to carry out bike, car, truck and CNG/LPG
WOFs.

Rebecca Hale   RECEPTION MANAGER
Rebecca has lived on the Hibiscus Coastfor the last 7 years and really enjoys the lifestyle here. Prior to coming to Orewa Car Services she produced children’s television shows, which certainly puts her in good stead for the busy times we have in retail. Rebecca brings a fantastic happy and positive attitude to our reception so we know that you’ll enjoy meeting her.

Jason Mills    MANAGER
A fully qualified automotive technician, Jason is trained in air conditioning, engine diagnostics, fuel injection systems and building exhaust systems. He also worked in Japan where he met his wife, and is a member of the NZ Army Territorials.

Kelvin Stevens
A-grade automotive technician, for over 40
years and one of the team’s WOF inspectors, Kelvin has extensive mechanical knowledge, including carburetted systems. An Orewa local, Kelvin’s automotive industry history has led to a passion for Shell memorabilia and vintage cars.

Alan Vandervelde
Alan is an A-grade mechanic with 25 years of experience in the industry in South Africa, where he owned and operated his own workshop. He is the team’s heavy vehicle, 4x4 and truck specialist. He also specialises in diesel pump and carburetted systems, petrol and diesel engine mechanical faults and gear box rebuilds.

Simon Reesowen
Another Orewa local, Simon is a qualified automotive technician and has been with the company for five years. He’s trained in electronic fuel injection systems, diagnostics and has a passion for building performance engines.

Gary Burgess
Gary has worked in the industry for 37 years and is a City and Guilds of London qualified technician. He specialises in diagnostics and automotive electronics and, fully conversant with all modern vehicles, he has specialist knowledge of Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Ford, Vauxhall, Renault and all European models.
